DMEnergy along with MFS bv performed chief engineer service for Hot Gas Path inspection for GE gas turbine MS5001 (P). The works included disassemble of HGP, check of the parts and exchange if it was needed.

Process of disassembling is pretty long and take at least one week. Sometimes there are two shifts to decrease the overhaul time. Also it is possible to decrease downtime by good preparation (get all tools ready, slings, hydraulic torques etc). In this case the works were performed during one shift.

Works performed ahead of schedule and gas turbine worked from first start.
