DMEnergy and Alba Power carried out overhaul of the Rolls Royce Avon 1535-161G gas generator mod 5020 (Avon 200).

Overhaul included following stages:

1. Demounting of the gas generator
2. Demounting of the gas generator details
3. Cleaning, inspection, repair or replacement of parts, spare parts, deposition of protective coating
   • Housing of the front end bearing
   • Compressor rotor
   • Compressor body parts and stator blades
   • Compressor outer housing and internal gear
   • Casing of inlet guide vanes inlet guide vanes and tail bearing housing
   • Turbine disks and shafts
   • Equipment of the combustion chamber
   • Exhaust module and thermocouple bundle

4. After assembly of the gas generator, operational tests were carried out. Tests confirmed the operability and the required output.
